Lowan
Description
As a gift for my nephew, Lowan, I drew his name in graffiti letters. He used to love to point at everything when he was little, so the arrows seemed fitting.

Koi Fish in Watercolor
Description
This started as a group project idea at work, but I know how hard it is to get motivated and to do some personal work. I ended up just finishing it myself.
This was the first time I hvae painted anything traditional in a long time and the first time I have used watercolors. They are NOT very forgiving, but very fun.

Painting for My Father: Gregory Adomanis - 2010
Description
This a painting to symbolize and capture my dad's experience through life thus far. From his father in WWII Germany to having 2 kids as a teenager then going to Vietnam. Then marrying my mother and becoming a professional fire fighter to having 4 more kids and 8 grandkids (the birds), so far. I am proud of him as a person and proud to have him as my father.
This was all painted digitally in Photoshop. Even though I started this about a year and a half ago and finally as a 60th birthday present for my father. After life getting in the way, I finally finished it for him a few weeks ago.
Enjoy.

Kade Piece at Reid Menzer Skatepark - 2009
Description
Through a friend of mine, I was lucky enough to be part of the mural at the Reid Menzer Memorial Skatepark in York, PA. The mural was updated for the one year anniversary.
This is my first graffiti piece in probably 12 years or so. I felt rustier than a screw, but got it done with a little help from my friends (since they had caps that fit these new male cans).

Kids Portraits
Description
From a project I started in December 2006, I was going to have a portrait of each of my 3 kids arranged youngest to oldest in 3 frames. All of them were looking at each other with a very distinct, personal expression, had thier favorite colors, and had some personal traits within the background. Unfortunately I lost the time to finish any more of them than the one of Kade. Since it has been 2 years and they are still unfinished, I will attempt to do this again when the time allows.
These were all done in Painter IX with the sharp pencil, oil brush, and oil pastels.

The Great Discovery
Description
From the worldwide, online contest Last Man Standing 2, this was my entry for Round 3. The topic was "The Great Discovery". After spilling out many ideas, I settled on how cave men discovered fire. But I wanted to add a twist into how they discovered it.
With this entry, I came in 3rd out of 5, so I did not move on to the next round. I was pretty happy with what I was judged because the competition was steep and I was in the same bracket with many amazing artists.
Illustrated in Photoshop CS2.

The Escape
Description
From the worldwide, online contest Last Man Standing 2, this was my entry for Round 2. The topic was "The Escape". This was one of the first out of 12 concepts that I came up with. This was a very personal piece to me as well, since my father was a fire fighter in PG county MD.
With this entry, I won this round to move onto round 3.

3D Environments
UI Design
Description
A long term interactive solution to meet the needs of pharmaceutical sales reps that wanted to know everything about a hospital and certain medical specialties. This way we could virtually have them shadow a doctor for the day without being in a real hospital setting, which involves a lot of complications.
From the start, we were pretty sure that we were going to use 3D, but we wanted the user to feel like they were in the environments, so they had to look and feel real. Using 3DS Max and VRay for the environments and Flash for the entire UI, it worked out to be a very successful application.

Nutropin Audio CDs
Responsiblities: Creative Art Direction / Design
Description
A created a set of 6 CD labels for an audio series on Growth Hormone deficiencies. I wanted all of the labels to look nice and similar, but each have its own flavor. So I chose major rainbow colors in the order of the light spectrum, ROYGBV. Unfortunately, this project never went beyond the design stage and was never put into production.
